📦 What You’ll Do
Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for components and materials required in the development and production of advanced battery energy storage systems.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost efficiency and supply reliability.
Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and ensure the timely receipt of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the production team to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships through regular communication and performance reviews.
Conduct market research to stay current with industry trends, pricing shifts, and potential new vendors.
Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure procurement aligns with product specifications and timelines.
Proactively resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, or logistics.
Track procurement KPIs and present regular reports on cost savings, supply chain health, and vendor performance.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Buyer, Sourcer, or in a procurement role, ideally within the renewable energy or hardware technology sectors.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost-effective procurement outcomes.
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficiency with procurement tools and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and take initiative independently.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Far East Asian languages is a strong plus due to supplier locations.
